… of the Kansas high school football season is in the books and the Esch Index predicted the winner of 31 games correctly and 16 incorrectly. That’s an accuracy of 66% and brings the season average to 74.2%.
Here are a few notes regarding the attached results below:
The victories and margin-of-victories of Wellington, Lawrence Free State, Olathe East, Blue Valley North, Fort Scott, Great Bend, and Leavenworth were the most unexpected by the Index and provided the largest rating adjustments ahead of the first round of the playoffs.
